The Cottonwood Festival is once again coming to Richardson. A semi-annual community event right in the heart of the city, the Cottonwood Festival is the perfect time to experience terrific local and national art from a variety of artists and mediums. The festival is taking place May 2 - 3, 2015 at Richardson’s Cottonwood Park, so be sure to bring the entire family out for this fantastic community event.

Thousands of art lovers will be making their way to the Cottonwood Festival this May to view some of the most impressive and innovative pieces by artists from the around the U.S. These pieces will be chosen by a hand-picked jury, who will select only 240 pieces out of over 1,400 submitted works. The chosen art will be from a variety of mediums, including classic painting, sculpture, drawing and ceramics to more modern forms of art, such as 3D Mixed Media, Digital, Photography and 2D Mixed Media.

The Cottonwood Festival isn’t only about the art. Attendees will also be able to enjoy local bands, as well as delicious food and spirits. We highly recommend taking a stroll through the Lakeside Courtyard, where you’ll find a tranquil and ambient atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying the fun and beauty of the festival.

We hope you will join us at this year’s Cottonwood Festival. Cottonwood Park is located on Belt Line Road in Richardson. Admission is free to the event. For more information, contact festival administrators.
