The dangers of riding your bike alongside a busy road can be quite extreme if you're not being careful, and for one foreign cyclist, this could not have rang more true after he was involved in what could have been a devastating incident. Luckily for him, the odds were in his favor that day and he left the scene completely unscathed.
Security camera footage of the accident shows the biker making his way down a narrow road when a truck suddenly zooms by. In an instant the truck sideswipes the man, knocking him completely off of his bike, and then drops a mattress off the truck bed, which immediately cushions the biker's fall. The scene is so incredible that you have to watch the complete video below to even believe it actually happened! Moments after the incident occurs, the biker seems stunned himself, sitting for a moment on the mattress before slowly getting up and retrieving his bike.
