What Should I Do If There is a Recall for my Vehicle?
If it turns out that there is a recall for your vehicle, don't panic. It doesn't mean that your vehicle is completely defective, only that there is a potential safety issue that needs to be addressed. Contact our dealership to schedule an appointment to have your vehicle repaired or have any faulty parts replaced.
Do I Have to Pay for Recall Repairs?
The good news is that you shouldn't have to pay for any repairs that need to be made as a result of a recall. The fault technically lies with the manufacturer, so they are obligated to cover the costs of the repair. They will at the very least provide you with a rebate if you have to pay for the repairs upfront as long as you let them know. Keep in mind that this only refers to repairs that are made within the scope of the recall; you will still be responsible for any additional repairs that are outside the scope of the recall.
Even though learning that the CJDR vehicle that you've been driving has been recalled can seem like an alarming experience, there is no need to panic. Most of these kinds of repairs are easy to replace as long as you follow the manufacturer's directions and act quickly.
