Saturday, April 19, was bright and sunny in North Texas, and a great day for a car show at Richardson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
More than 70 customized cars and trucks were on display, and hundreds of car enthusiasts browsed, enjoyed barbecued hamburgers, and won some terrific prizes - including trophies for the coolest rides, tickets to country music legend George Strait's last concert, two big-screen TVs, two iPads, and a guitar autographed by teen singing sensation Taylor Swift.
Dallas Cowboys All-Rookie center Travis Frederick signed autographs and showed off the custom 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee he's driving from Rock Creek Customs, Richardson CJDR's in-house customization shop.

The students of Shao Lin Kickboxing Academy of Plano, Texas, put on an impressive exhibition to the delight of the crowd as well.
Proceeds of close to $1000 from the raffle sales went to Operation Once In A Lifetime, one of several charities that benefit from Richardson CJD's fund-raising efforts.
Richardson CJD hosts a car show every quarter, and it's open to any and everyone who wants to show off their custom vehicle - or just wants to look at some of the hottest rides in North Texas. For information about the next one, keep an eye on our website.
