The holidays are almost upon us and the Dallas Arboretum is transforming itself into a Victorian Christmas wonderland to get you and your family into the holiday spirit. Beginning on Nov. 16, 2014, the "12 Days of Christmas" exhibit will feature 12 charming 25-foot Victorian gazebos filled with all of the characters and animals you know from the classic carol.

These gazebos are extravagantly decorated to give the viewer a beautiful and dynamic experience like no other. From mockingbirds and lords-a-leaping to French hens and turtledoves, guests will enjoy the merriment and fun that only the holiday season can provide with each gazebo featuring moving parts and holiday music that really bring the displays to life.

The full exhibit is a leisurely .75-mile walk through the Arboretum's garden, which has been transformed into a gorgeous winter wonderland. NOTE: Wheelchairs will be available.

Join us during the day and visitors can walk through the beautiful DeGolyer Estate that will be decorated with a wide variety of Byers' Choice Ltd. Christmas Caroler figurines. You'll also be able to take a stroll through the Estate's gardens and enjoy various family-oriented activities.

At night, the exhibit transforms into the sparkling "12 Days of Night" show, which illuminates the gazebos with thousands of Christmas lights for a spectacular viewing under the stars. The exhibit will also feature a lively Victorian-era theme with holiday-themed sweet treats and live carolers.

Tickets are on sale now, so come by the Dallas Arboretum this holiday season and enjoy this beautiful exhibit that the whole family will love!
