Now that “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has officially hit the big screen, Dodge has released their homage to the film via a fun new commercial.
The new ad features an impressive array of Dodge’s most beloved cars, including the Viper, Challenger, Charger and Durango. In the 30-second spot, we see a black Viper leading a pack of white Challengers, Chargers and Durangos, driving to the infamous Imperial March from the original films. The ad invokes the much loved villain, Darth Vader, from the first three films, as well as his army of white-clad Stormtroopers.
“The Force Awakens” has already smashed global box office records, setting it up to be one of the – if not the – highest grossing movies of all time. Bringing back the galaxy far, far away to audiences more than 30 years after the original trilogy aired, “The Force Awakens” is truly the biggest pop culture moment of the year.
All of this is why we are so excited to see Dodge take part in all the Star Wars fun. The spot has already garnered millions of views online, as it creatively shows off Dodge’s line of new cars – many of which are available right here in Richardson.
