Ram received a big honor last month. The truckmaker was named in Strategic Vision’s annual Total Quality Index study as the “Best Non-Luxury Brand."
The Total Quality Index studies thousands of customer surveys to find the car brands that have the highest overall quality. Ram came out on top this year, thanks to its consistency in making well-made products like its new 2016 Ram 3500 that produces 900 lb.-ft. of torque.
“This is the first time FCA has ranked highest in the 20-year history of the Total Quality Index and we're honored to receive this award. Our unwavering commitment to the highest level of quality as a company is being recognized on a national level while our world-class vehicle lineup continues to attract new customers as well as those who have been purchasing our products for years,” Matt Liddane, Vice President – Quality, FCA-North America said.
Ram wasn’t the only brand to see high praise from the study. The Dodge Challenger, Charger and Durango all ranked No. 1 in their respective categories, as did the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is the 20th year for the Total Quality Index and we’re very happy that many of our brands have once again proven to be some of the top vehicles on the marketplace.
