The road to the White House is long and grueling, but these hopefuls embarked on the journey. Here’s a look at a few presidential candidates from a car enthusiast's perspective.

TED CRUZ
The Texas senator has been seen driving an unassuming luxury car on his travels. Last October, TheStreet.com published an image of Cruz in what appeared to be a BMW 3 Series as he was leaving Capitol Hill.

JOHN KASICH
We couldn’t find information on which vehicle model Kasich owns, but the Governor of Ohio once told the Detroit News, “Whenever my father needed a new car, he always looked around. But he always bought a Dodge.” If Kasich is like his father and happens to drive a Dodge, we’d speculate that he owns a Dodge Journey or Durango.

HILLARY CLINTON
The last time Clinton drove herself was back in 1996, when she owned a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera that she originally purchased for only $120 while in law school. For the greater part of two decades, Clinton’s work has mandated that she be driven by the Secret Service; on the campaign trail she travels in an all-black armor-covered van nicknamed “Scooby.”

BERNIE SANDERS
Just recently, photos of Sanders driving an expensive luxury car surfaced online, with claims that he purchased it with donor money. The claims turned out to be false and evidence indicates that the man in the car was not Sanders. As far as what he actually drives, Sanders has been seen in a Lincoln Town Car and has also made appearances with hybrid and electric cars.

DONALD TRUMP
It’s not surprising that Trump’s transportation options are numerous; with a net worth in the billions of dollars, we’re sure his garage is fully stocked. Along with possessing his very own airplane, Trump owns a Rolls Royce, Lamborghini and several other luxury vehicles.
