For the 2017 model year, Dodge is bringing back the Challenger T/A and the Charger Daytona models. As American as apple pie, these legendary trims originated during the mid-60’s and early ‘70s as high-performance racing models. Only revived a few times since, the modern versions combine the classic muscle car styling with modern aesthetics. The result? Two hot cars that are an absolute blast to drive!

The special edition Dodge Challenger in Richardson is suited with a satin black hood with a center-mounted scoop and a matching satin black roof, trunk lid, rear wing, fuel-filler door and body-side stripes. The Challenger also is equipped with air catcher headlamps with illuminated LED T/A logos, 20-inch black wheels and optional hood pins.

The Daytona trim of the new Dodge Charger also gets the satin black treatment applied on the roof, rear spoiler, fuel-filler door and the “Hemi” graphic on the center-mounted scoop. The Daytona also gets some throwback namesake graphics on the quarter panels.

?Under the hood, the muscle cars feature the same engines. The base is a 5.7-liter V8 engine that makes an estimated 375 horsepower. Those who want a louder roar can opt for the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine rated at an estimated 485 horsepower. The cars also feature a 2.75-inch electronically adjustable exhaust system and a cold air intake system.

Dodge muscle car enthusiasts will also be excited by the great upgrades to performance. Both cars are equipped with the Super Track Pak performance package, which includes a lowered suspension, high-performance brake lining, a three-mode stability control system with full-off mode and more.

Both the Dodge Challenger T/A and the Charger Daytona are rumored to be available starting later this fall. In the meantime, pay us a visit at our dealership in the Dallas area to take a peek at some of our other great models or take one out on a test drive!
