The sky will sparkle at Richardson’s annual Family 4th of July Celebration and you won’t want to miss seeing the mesmerizing light show with your own eyes.

At Family 4th, Independence Day is commemorated with music, food, fireworks and community togetherness. The patriotic event is free and fun for all ages!

You may bring your own picnic food or take advantage of concessions. Also, don’t forget lawn chairs and/or blankets, so you can relax in comfort while watching a fantastic fireworks display under the evening stars.

Several attractions will be onsite for children to enjoy, including bounce houses, wall climbing and balloon artists. To promote fire safety in a fun way, there will also be a fire truck slide, as well as informational pamphlets. In addition, live musical performances will be provided by Griffin Tucker and The Richardson Community Band.

The event, which takes place at Breckinridge Park, concludes with an explosive fireworks show at 9:45 p.m. and it’s a must-see for locals!

If you don’t want to worry about having to find parking near the event, complimentary shuttle service is available. To learn more about shuttle locations and hours, and to get more details about all of the activities scheduled for Richardson Family 4th, visit the official event website here.
