A few years after debuting the Rumble Bee Concept, Ram has finally brought a yellow and black truck to production. It’s not a mirror image of the Rumble Bee, but the all-new, limited-edition Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow delivers the custom look and features that fans of the concept are sure to love.
Instead of the body-side stripes sported on the Rumble Bee Concept, the Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow gets a set of black hood stripes. And, unlike the Rumble Bee’s black wheels, the Stinger Yellow is outfitted with standard five-spoke 22-inch alloy wheels that are painted silver. Another departure from the Rumble Bee’s design, and something that may appeal to shoppers, is the Stinger Yellow’s four-door Crew Cab body style. The Bee offered a single-cab layout, which will not be an option on the Stinger Yellow.
The power unit is a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine capable of producing 395-horsepower; it’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. As far as cabin features, shoppers can expect many of the same amenities that are included on other editions of the Ram 1500, including power locks and windows, cruise control, USB/AUX inputs and automatic headlights, among other notable appointments.
