Hagan Drives TSR Dodge//SRT Hellcat to 54th Career Win

Matt Hagan, a seasoned race car driver, recently notched his 54th career victory — and his second win of the 2025 season — piloting the powerful Dodge/SRT Hellcat, a car known for its aggressive, athletic styling and raw performance both on and off the track.

NHRA Midwest Nationals

Hagan earned this latest triumph at the NHRA Midwest Nationals, held at the end of September in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The event served as the Funny Car championship and marked the fifth Funny Car victory of Hagan's career. Teaming with him at the event was fellow racer Tony Stewart. Hagan's strong showing added to his list of four previous NHRA World Champion victories.

The three-day event featured several sold-out races. Driving for Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) in a Dodge/SRT Hellcat backed by American Rebel Beer, Hagan became the only Funny Car competitor to post 3.90-second runs in each of the four elimination rounds. Along the way, he defeated top contenders including Cruz Pedregon, Daniel Wilkerson, and Alex Laughlin.

What's Next for Hagan?

Following this impressive performance at the Midwest Nationals, Hagan sets his sights on the NHRA Fall Nationals in October 2025 at the Texas Motorplex. He's no stranger to that track — Hagan has claimed victory there five times, including two wins in the last two years.
