Four leading American automakers—Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and Ram—have teamed up to honor the country's 250th anniversary. These brands are joining America250, a congressionally chartered organization created to celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence. While they're the only automakers sponsoring this commemoration, various other companies will also lend their support.
About the Initiative
Beyond marking the Declaration's anniversary, this effort symbolizes a deeper partnership between the public and private sectors, reflecting ongoing consumer loyalty to these four home-grown automakers. The America250 campaign aims to strengthen those ties and involve communities coast to coast. Although the Declaration's actual commemoration spans just one day, America250 will run for a full year. Its year-long theme, “America Made Us,” will spotlight the people and businesses whose efforts have helped Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and Ram thrive.
In addition to celebrating these brands, America250 will share the story of how each rose to prominence in the automotive world. Oliver Francois, the global chief marketing officer for all four marques, will guide viewers through their journeys, beginning in Detroit, Michigan. To honor their Detroit roots, they've launched a sub-campaign called “Imported from Detroit,” which traces the city's evolution from rugged industrial hub to premier American manufacturing center. Ram will also contribute its own piece, “ God Made a Farmer,” emphasizing agriculture's vital role in the U.S. economy—and the crucial part Ram trucks play in helping farmers maintain our nation's farms.
The campaign's third element will be a cross-country convoy featuring each brand's vehicles. Along the route, special America250 edition models will be unveiled, and official events will be held nationwide to showcase both these limited editions and the latest offerings from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and Ram.
After the tour completes its journey, the celebration will culminate at Stellantis headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the grand finale.
