From 305 hp to 797 hp Across Five Engines

2019 Dodge ChallengerThe 2019 Challenger lineup begins with a 305hp, 3.6L V6 that's found in the GT and SXT models. It puts out 268 lb. ft. of torque through its eight-speed auto transmission. The base engine puts out enough power for most drivers, but the Challenger's macho looks cry out for a big, beefy V8. The R/T gets a 5.7L V8 that offers 375hp and 410 lb. ft. of torque when mated to a six-speed manual.

The R/T Scat Pack brings you a 6.4L V8 with 485hp and 476 lb. ft. of torque; it's combined with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed auto. The Scat Pack 1320, which is purpose-built for drag racing, does the quarter-mile in just under 12 seconds. If that's not enough,h the Hellcat gets a supercharged 6.2L V8 with 717hp; the Hellcat Redeye puts out 797hp.
