What's New For the 2021 Jeep Gladiator?
Jeep's rugged pickup truck returns for 2021 with a newly available EcoDiesel engine. It promises to take fuel efficiency to the next level.
2021 Gladiator Trims & Features
Jeep offers the Gladiator in four main trim levels: Sport, Overland, Mojave, and Rubicon. The base Gladiator Sport is the least expensive trim, featuring all the necessary off-road hardware, including protective skid plates and a standard 4WD system with low-range gearing. A removable soft top adds to the Gladiator's fun factor. Other standard equipment includes push-button start, Bluetooth, and an eight-speaker stereo.
Drivers who crave more comfort should check out the Gladiator Overland. It comes equipped with power windows, power locks, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Another significant upgrade is the top-rated Uconnect infotainment system with a larger, 7-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity.
Designed to tackle the dunes, the Gladiator Mojave receives a few additional off-road upgrades. Highlights include a wider track, Fox high-performance shocks, and 33-inch Falken all-terrain tires.
Atop the lineup sits the ultra-rugged Rubicon model. It comes equipped with features not found on the other trims, including a special Rock-Trac 4X4 system and Selec-Speed Control. A vented hood enhances this model's aggressive styling.

2021 Jeep Gladiator Horsepower
The 2021 Jeep Gladiator comes standard with a proven Pentastar V6 engine. It's rated to pump out a fulfilling 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This is enough muscle for you to tow up to 7,650 pounds. While a six-speed manual gearbox is standard, an eight-speed automatic transmission is available on every new Gladiator. New for 2021 is the pickup's optional EcoDiesel engine. Jeep tunes it to develop 260 horsepower and a brawny 442 lb-ft of torque.
Jeep Gladiator Safety
Some confidence-inspiring safety features are available for the new Gladiator. Forward collision warning with braking assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring are all offered. Adventure lovers can also take advantage of the available TrailCam. When venturing off-road, this forward-facing camera with a built-in washer helps drivers to spot oncoming obstacles.
