The Jeep Compass is a compact crossover made in five trims. The 2022 Compass family uses the same engine across the line, but they have different amenities and conveniences that set them apart. The Sport trim level is the base model. With the Sport comes a stylish and rugged exterior that includes 16-inch wheels with an alloy polish. LED headlights are another standard item. The Jeep has heated exterior mirrors, and it has roof rails to help store more cargo when you need extra space. Inside, the Jeep has plenty of space for five people. It has a sizable cargo area and two rows of seats in the back that fold flat. The Sport has a six-speaker audio system and an adjustable loading floor. Satellite radio is standard, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The base trim has an 8.4-inch touchscreen, but a larger 10-inch display comes with the Limited trim and up. The Sport has cloth upholstery, while the Latitude gets faux leather seating, and the Limited has full leather upholstery. A panoramic sunroof comes with the higher-end models of the Compass as well.

2022 Jeep Compass Horsepower

All trim levels of the Jeep Compass have the same engine, which is a turbo V4 with a 2.4L displacement. They all have the same power output from their engine, which is just less than 180 HP. The Compass can get more than 170 LB-FT in torque with the standard engine. Most trims have front-wheel drive except for the Trailhawk, which is equipped with standard all-wheel drive.
