What's New For the 2021 Ram 1500?
The RAM 1500 is a top-rated truck in the class of light-duty pickups. This year, the 1500 adds some new features that make it an even better buy. While the RAM 1500 had a respectable engine lineup before, it now adds a more powerful engine on the TRX trim. The interior also sees upgrades to its safety technology with reverse steer control for the trailer and a newly available head-up display. The RAM 1500 Classic doesn't get many updates from 2020. You'll still get the same three trims with a choice of bed lengths and two engines.
What Are the RAM 1500 Trims & Features?
The RAM 1500 is produced in eight trim levels in 2021. Steel wheels frame the exterior of the Tradesman, which is the first trim. It also has air conditioning, a sound system with six speakers, and a five-inch infotainment display. The Big Horn and Lone Star are two variants that follow. Both add split-folding seats and fog lights. They get alloy wheels as an upgrade. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are available for both trims, and you can get larger 8.4-inch or 12-inch displays. The Rebel has sportier and more aggressive styling. It also has underbody skid plates and LED lights
The Laramie brings you more luxury features with heated front seats, leather upholstery, and a standard 8.4-inch display. With the Longhorn comes heated back row seats, satellite radio, navigation, and side steps. The Limited has power running boards and a 12-inch display. Manual doors, vinyl flooring, and USB ports come with the Tradesman on the RAM 1500 Classic. The Express has carpeted floors and tinted glass windows. With the Warlock comes projector LED lights, 20-inch wheels, and a five-inch infotainment display.

Featuring Great Performance
Two gasoline engines are available for the 2021 RAM 1500. The first is a V6 that reaches 305 HP, and the second is a V8 that delivers 395 HP. You can get a diesel that offers 480 LB-FT in torque as well. The TRX trim has its own V8 engine that reaches 702 HP. The Classic standard engine is a 3.6L V6 that cranks out 305 HP, but you can upgrade to a 5.7L V8 with a power output of 395 HP.
Technologies To Keep You Safe
The RAM 1500 has hill descent control, trailer sway damping, blind-spot monitoring, and forward collision mitigation. Safety features for the RAM 1500 Classic include parking sensors, side curtain airbags, and electronic stability control.
